Grey Mare's Tail Moffat Dale

Although this waterfall has the same name as one that has been previously put on the website it is in fact a different one.

The name is taken from a poem which was written in Gaelic "Greith mear eas tadh ail" which means "the glistening cascade gushing forth from the rocky ledge". This waterfall is part of a nature reserve which is looked after by the National Trust for Scotland.
